Strategic Co-Designer
Design How Your Business Should Operate at the Next Level.
What got you to $40M won’t get you to $100M. Your org structure, roles, and workflows were built for a smaller company.
The Service
We co-design the operating model, decision rights, and leadership structure that will actually work as you scale — including where AI should and shouldn’t be embedded in how your team makes decisions. This isn’t us handing you a deck. It’s us building the blueprint together.
What You Get
- 3 Working Sessions/Month. (2 CEO sessions + 1 flex session for key leaders).
- Active Document Review. We review board decks, org charts, and strategy docs.
- Co-Design Support. We architect the structure; your team executes it.
- AI-native design. As we redesign your operating model, we embed AI where it creates real leverage — surfacing risks, compressing data, challenging assumptions — so your leaders make better judgments faster. Think of AI as a spotter in the gym: it helps you lift heavier, but it doesn’t do the lifting.
Example Challenges
- We're scaling from $50M to $100M and our current org structure is breaking.
- We're preparing for an exit in 24 months and need to maximize EBITDA.
- We need to integrate two different operating models after an acquisition.
Investment
- Investment: Engagement scales with company size and complexity. Typically 6–12 months.
FAQ Questions
01 What does “co-design” actually mean?
We diagnose what’s broken, design the new model together, then I support your team through implementation. You own the solution because you built it — not because I handed you a deck.
02 How long does an operating model redesign take?
Design: 6–8 weeks. Implementation: 4–6 months. Total: 6–12 months depending on complexity. You’ll see early wins — faster decisions, clearer ownership — in the first 90 days.
03 Does my team implement or do you?
Your team implements. I design the roadmap, facilitate workshops, and troubleshoot when things get stuck. Your people need to own it for it to stick — my job is to build capability, not dependency.
04 What happens after the engagement ends?
You own the operating model. Your team knows how to maintain and evolve it. Many CEOs transition to Thought Partner for ongoing support, but the goal is for you to run without me.
